ADELAIDE HILLS
Vino Masters Score: 96/100 ★★★★★ Mouthwatering Adelaide Hills Chardonnay combining vibrant stone fruit, creamy texture and elegant oak integration with excellent freshness and length."Small Batch. Wild Fermented. Barrel Maturation. 13.5%. Bright straw with aromas of white peach, nectarine and lemon zest, complemented by citrus and subtle roasted cashew. The palate is beautifully textured, with ripe peach and citrus flowing through a creamy, layered mid-palate. Bright natural grapefruit acidity provides freshness and drive, balancing the richer fruit characters and subtle nutty complexity. Gentle oak adds a touch of spice and sophistication, leading into a long finish with lingering lemon, peach and savoury notes."
95 points - Wine Orbit"Restrained and finely expressed, the bouquet reveals white-fleshed peach, grapefruit, nougat, smoky bacon, and biscotti nuances, leading to a brilliantly focused palate that's linear and finely textured. Wonderfully structured by beautifully pitched acidity, finishing impressively long and engaging."
93 points - Ken Gargett"Adelaide Hills Chardonnay which underwent fermentation with native yeasts before time in barrel for maturation, this is of a yellow/straw colour. Quite a pungent nose with hints of spices, stonefruits, nuts and honeycomb. There is a flick of oak, deftly handled. Good focus and energy, the wine is of medium length with a line of gentle, rather citrussy acidity through to a slow fade. It should provide immense drinking pleasure over the next three to four years. Classy drinking."
