Though not strictly a Thistledown wine, it is made by Giles Cooke MW and all of the profits go to charity so we just had to include it. That it's amazing wine also helps.
Produced using hand-picked fruit from one block in the famed Ebenezer sub-region of the Barossa Valley, it is fermented using indigenous yeasts with 30% whole bunch inclusion. Gentle extraction and with incredible fruit quality, the resulting intense, vivid wine is aged in French oak puncheons for 12-14 months before release.
The result is a profound, delicious example of contemporary Barossa Shiraz and with all profits to charity, that just has to be good news!
