Many of our wine names are personal to us – evocative of our upbringing or that of our growers. Like the imagery used on the labels and the character of the wines themselves, the stories are multi-layered, sometimes complex, often quirky, and frequently, wistful for people and places that we love.
Our Celtic links, either through birth or residency, reappear frequently – reaffirming the long-standing ties between Scotland, Ireland and Australia. This rich history is inextricably woven into the landscapes that we work in and how our growers experience their environment. The love that goes into each bottle is only a fitting recompense for the hardship and thankless toil that many of our growers have endured over the decades.
