Sourced from a range of the finest vineyard sites in the Ebenezer sub-region of the Barossa, this rich yet well balanced red has all the complexity and delicious dark berry fruit that one would expect.

Fruit is picked on the way up, to preserve freshness and vitality while a very gentle, wild ferment with some whole bunch inclusion guarantees that textural, elegant style that is the signature of Thistledown.

12 months in 300 litre French barrels, of which 25% are new, adds a little toasty, spicy detail to the wine but not at the expense of gloriously expressive fruit.
